The New Job is perfect.
It really is.
I spent today writing and editing, and looking west over the....what river IS that?
Well. Looking west.
The building I'm in was built a couple hundred years ago, and when the sun set I watched the curling, ionic capitals outside my window turn white and pink and deep purple.
But now with the adreneline gone and the commute over, my stomach hurts and I have a headache. A remnant from the rush of the day. I'm not used to a day job. This is my first one in seven years (I mean a five-day-a -week job, without a flexible schedule). I think once I get used to it, the schedule will be easier. But oh, it is a shock to the system to stop freelancing!
Even so...I'm looking forward to tomorrow.
